As a pioneer in shelter construction with 75 years of experience, today we are the only manufacturer to produce all components in the TWP shelter ourselves and offer services in the planning and execution of renovations, dismantling and conversion of shelters and civil defense facilities.

Technical information, instructions and details on all products, components, devices and systems can be found in the DOWNLOAD section.

Degrees

New shelters are created during the construction process when the basement is formed. They consist of a reinforced concrete shell made of in-situ concrete. The Federal Office for Civil Protection requires special shelter closures for the openings in the shelter shell. Armored doors for access, armored covers for emergency exits and wall penetrations for ventilation ducts for peace ventilation.

Armored sliding wall PSW (for underground garages - TSW systems) - BZS no. SR 14-701

Armored sliding walls from Lunor are made to measure. Contact us in good time for planning, approval and acceptance by the canton.

Lunor product advantage: The floor channel of the PSW is made of chrome steel. This prevents expensive subsequent repairs due to corrosion and rust.

Rubber seals for armored doors and armored lids

The seals harden over the years and become brittle if they are not maintained with silicone. If the armored cover and armored door remain closed for a long time, the rubber seal will deform and must be replaced. HERE you will find all common types.

Wallducts for ventilation ducts - BZS no. T-15-006

Ducts outside the protected space must be routed through the protected space using wall ducts. These can be dismantled on both sides using quick-release fasteners and are supplied including steel plates, the necessary labels, flanges and tools.

Available for ventilation ducts 125 mm and 200 mm.

Ventilation

LUNOR ventilation systems offer protection against nuclear, biological and chemical pollutants. They consist of the ventilation unit (VA), which draws in outside air via the explosion protection valve with pre-filter (ESV-VF). If the breathing air is contaminated, the NBC filter is switched on and the required air volume is regulated by the air flow meter.

Fans, gas filters and valves are manufactured by LUNOR at its headquarters in Zürich. They are certified by the Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP) Spiez Laboratory and have a valid BZS approval. LUNOR has all approvals for components in the TWP and TWS shelter.

Ventilation units (VA) - BZS no. TE 98-005 / T 83-010

VA 40 for max. 13 protection spaces

VA 75 for max. 25 protection zones

VA 150 for 26 to 50 protection zones

VA 300 for 201 to 800 protection zones

GF gas filter (GF-40 | GF-75 | GF-150 | GF-300) - BZS no. T 76-003 / T 89-009 /BZS T 15-004

The combined NBC protection filter from LUNOR prevents the penetration of radioactive dust, biological germs and chemical pollutants into the shelter. The contaminated outside air passes through the HEPA filter and then through the gas absorption filter (made of activated carbon).

Explosionprotection valves with pre-filter - BZS no. T 00-009 / T 03-007

Valves with explosion protection protect supply and exhaust air openings in protected spaces against sudden air blasts of up to 1 bar. Explosion protection valves with pre-filter (ESV-VF) of the appropriate size (depending on the air volume used) must be used in the air intake.

ESV-VF 40: For air volumes of 40m3/h*

ESV-VF 75-150: For air volumes of 75-150m3/h*

*Filter operation (the air volume is doubled for fresh air operation).

Overpressure explosion protection valves - BZS no. T 03-002 / T 03-003

The exhaust air is routed out of the protected space via overpressure explosion protection valves. As there is an overpressure in the shelter, these valves open from an overpressure of 60Pa and close automatically as soon as the ventilation is switched off. This prevents contaminated outside air from contaminating the shelter.

UeV-ESV 40: For air volumes up to 40m3/h*

UeV-ESV 75 : For air volumes up to 75m3/h*

UeV-ESV 150: For air volumes up to 150m3/h*

*Filter operation (the air volume is doubled for fresh air operation).

Explosion protectionvalves and pre-filters - BZS no. T 83-004 / T 00-002 / T 92-005 / T 00-004

Explosion protection valves ESV 3 and ESV 4 with pre-filter are used in air inlets to prevent the destructive effects of all types of explosions. The valve and the pre-filter have been tested by the Spiez Laboratory laboratory and designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Office for Civil Protection.

Pressure reliefvalves - BZS no. T 05-003

Pure pressure relief valves have no explosion protection. They are used in combination with explosion protection valves or for air routing within the protected space.

Furnishings / furniture

The owner must equip the shelter with the material required for a longer stay in the shelter. The legally prescribed equipment of a shelter consists (since 1987) of berths and dry toilets. In shelters for more than 30 people, fixed cabins are provided for the dry toilets.

Shelter beds - BZS no. LP 14-401 / LP 14-401 / M 14-501

The three-storey mattress bases are available either with a mattress board or with a robust mattress cover.

The version with a reclining sheet offers storage advantages: all components are stored in just one cardboard box (LxWxH: 1950 x 230 x 105 mm), which can be stowed away in the shelter to save space. The version with a board (lying surface: approx. 1900 x 700mm) can be used as a stable cellar or storage rack when not in use.

Dry toilet sets (TC) - BZS no. N 89-004

Depending on the number of shelter places, the shelter must be equipped with the specified number of TCs.

Set TC-8: For up to 10 shelter spaces

Set TC-15: For up to 20 protection spaces

Set TC-30: For up to 30 protection spaces

Shelter cabins (AK)

AK-L 7001 | AK-U 7000.2 | AK-C 7000.3 | AK-C side door | AK-DEM 7000.5 | AK-R 100230

Shelter cabins for dry toilets are available in mobile and fixed versions.

The mobile versions are generally used in shelters for up to 30 people. For 31 or more people, two fixed cubicles are installed. In shelters with 101 or more shelter places, a separate toilet room with a door is created in which three fixed cubicles are installed.

Mobile toilet facilities for underground garages

According to the technical directives of the Federal Office for Civil Defense (TWS 1982), special toilet facilities are prescribed for shelters in underground garages. With the «Mobitoi» model, LUNOR has the right mobile toilet solution.
